Abstract

The lack of accessible systems to monitor key metrics in transport management systems, such as route performance, asset management, and staff performance indicators generates operational inefficiencies, high costs, and reduced competitiveness. This article analyzes the potential of easily accessible technological tools, such as Power BI, in designing dashboards to address the efficiency challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises in the logistics sector in Mexico. The objective is to analyze theoretical development in this area of knowledge and present a methodological proposal for the development of the Intelligent Transport Management System (SiGeTra). Through the analysis of correlations between different datasets, the system facilitates the identification of improvement areas and supports informed decision-making. The proposed solution is scalable, economically viable, and rapidly adoptable, enhancing business survival in the medium term and strengthening the logistics capacity of the transport sector.
