The systematic review article, through documentary analysis, presents the elements that give foundation to the New Mexican School reform (background), the managerial profile proposed by it and its relationship with the promotion of a school culture based on equity, inclusion, interculturality and excellence. Likewise, it is intended to make known the characteristics and/or desirable qualities in the personnel that develop the functions of principal in basic education with the intention of providing the main characteristics of a principal capable of contributing to the generation of an inclusive school culture and with addresses to diversity.
