The work addresses the issue of diversity and equality in compulsory education from the perspective of intercultural education. Its objective is to contribute to the improvement of the school by developing and disseminating a repertoire of good practices and educational experiences developed in compulsory education centers. It presents the results obtained in the consultation process on how educational achievements and good school practices are understood in contexts of cultural diversity, allowing an approach to a definition of educational achievement and good school practices, as well as the factors that influence them and the aspects to work on to achieve them. It describes case studies on what teachers do with the aim of having more effective educational practices, promoting the involvement of students in their learning, bearing in mind that work is done from and for diversity. It concludes by ensuring that educational practices in favor of cultural diversity achieve effective schools characterized by directors committed to innovation, where students and families participate actively and there is coordination between teachers to work as a team based on the reflection of their own practice.
